There is considerable research to support the premise that academic enrichment and learning beyond the classroom, when fuelled by a student's own curiosity and interests, contributes significantly to later academic success. This Newsletter is packed with such opportunities - exhibitions to visit, recorded talks, podcasts, websites, competitions, etc. Pursuing just one or two of such opportunities over the course of each term will provide our students with experiences beyond the classroom, and help them to explore possible future routes for study. It will help our students to discover which subjects they enjoy the most, and so support them in making informed choices for 16+ and 18+ learning choices.
