Canadian Ski Trip 2025

Journey update:

The staff and students have been on an epic journey and they haven't arrived yet!

Their initial flight from Heathrow to Toronto was diverted to Montreal due to adverse weather which closed Toronto airport.

There was a short stopover at Montreal while they waited for Toronto airport to reopen and they got a flight and landed in Toronto at 01:00 this morning.

From Toronto airport they were expecting to get a connecting flight to Edmonton - they boarded this plane but were told at 04:00 that the flight was now cancelled and our travel company made plans to get them into a hotel for the night.

They all arrived safely at their hotel at 06:00 this morning. We are now awaiting correspondence from Air Canada for details of the rescheduled flight.

As soon as we know more we will update this page and X.

12:30 UPDATE:

Air Canada have managed to reschedule the flight to Edmonton - the new departure time is 11:15 - with an ETA of 13:24. The flight number is AC169.

The group is currently having breakfast in their hotel after a short rest. They will be ready to leave for the airport shortly.

They all still seem to be in high spirits and the students are an absolute credit to you - they have dealt with the delays and cancellations well.

After 43.5 hours travelling - they have arrived! To make up for lost time our travel company have agreed to add 1 hour of skiing to each day!
