THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN STUDYING AT KING ALFRED’S ACADEMY SIXTH FORM 

Our Sixth Form offers a warm, friendly and inclusive environment, whilst being a challenging and exciting place for young people to study and further their ambitions, whether these involve moving onto a higher-level apprenticeship or studying at top universities, including Oxbridge. 

We hold a Sixth Form Open Evening in November each year, followed by Sixth Form Open Mornings in early December.  Dates for our events in November and December 2024 will be posted here once confirmed, together with instructions on how to book a place at these events.

In 2019 (the most recent year this data was published due to the disruption to exams caused by Covid-19) our Sixth Form was ranked amongst the top 5% of all Sixth Forms nationally for 'value added' (improvements made from students' GCSE results to their A Level results) with our students achieving 63% A* – B grades.
